About Indonesian American Business Council (IABC)
The Indonesian American Business Council (“IABC”) is a 501(c)(6) nonprofit trade organization that provides a forum for members to create networking relations in the U.S. and Indonesia. The organization is not exclusive to Indonesian businesses and is available to American businesses with ties or interests to businesses and individuals in the U.S. & Indonesia.
IABC’s mission is to promote the interest of Indonesian and American businesses and professionals by bridging and utilizing potential resources through networking within its members and affiliates. In alignment with its mission statement, the goal is to provide all members with as much benefits, business exposure, and contacts as possible through business networking and other business activities.
The IABC assists its members with their business development in both countries through seminars and workshops with guest speakers, business luncheons, and golf tournaments.Members do not have to be business owners. The IABC’s Board of Officers includes its current President, Harry Chou, who is the CEO of a furniture manufacturing business. Other officers include business persons in import/export, insurance, law, accounting, media, and banking. On the other hand, the board of directors includes the President of East West Bank, the Director of the Inland Empire U.S. Department of Commerce, the International Trade Development Manager at the Los Angeles Port, and the Supply Chain Vice President of Panda Restaurant Group. IABC is excited to announce its 4th Annual Golf Tournament on August 5, 2015 at Industry Hills Golf Club at the Pacific Palms in the City of Industry, CA. The Friends of Thailand international Network (FOTIN) is an inclusive group of volunteers who value the richness of Thai heritage and culture. They share the desire to create opportunities to enhance the value of their environment in Thailand, America and in any part of the world. FOTIN’s mission is to encourage and expand relations between and among the Thai, and other international communities for their mutual enrichment. FOTIN will achieve this mission by providing information, support, expertise and forums for addressing issues and exchanging ideas.
